Proximal Femur
We are proud to introduce our innovative product line for the management of femur fractures, featuring the Marc 2 Technology Nail. This advanced solution is designed to address the complexities associated with femoral fractures, providing orthopaedic surgeons with reliable tools to enhance patient outcomes. The Marc 2 Technology offers an advanced nailing system for superior interfragmentary compression and secure fixation for femoral fractures.
Hyper Proximal Interlocking Nail for Femoral Bone Marc 2
Hyper Proximal Interlocking Nail for Femoral Bone Marc 2 is indicated for fractures of the femur including:
- Simple shaft fractures
- Comminuted/spiral/long/oblique/segmented shaft fractures
- Subtrochanteric/intertrochanteric fractures
- Ipsilateral femoral shaft/neck fractures
Features
- The Hyper PFNA Marc 2 offers a reliable and stable solution for treating intertrochanteric fractures, particularly in osteoporotic patients. Its combination of intramedullary fixation, anti-rotation features, and advanced Marc 2 technology makes it an excellent choice for promoting healing while allowing for early mobilisation and minimising complications
Hyper Proximal Femoral Nail
Hyper Proximal Femoral Nail is indicated for fractures of the femur including:
- Pertrochanteric fractures (31-A1 and 31-A2)
- Intertrochanteric fractures (31-A3)
- High subtrochanteric fractures (32-A1)
Features
Insertion of the nail through Greater Trochanter assisted by the 5° Valgus built into the nail
- Static or dynamic locking can be performed via the aiming arm in 180 mm & 240 mm length nails. The long nails additionally can be planned for secondary dynamization
Proximal Femoral Nail (PFN)
- Pertrochanteric fractures
- Intertrochanteric fractures
- High subtrochanteric fractures
- Low and extended subtrochanteric fractures
- Ipsilateral trochanteric fractures
- Combination of fractures (trochanteric area/shaft)
- Pathological fractures
- Isolated or combined medial femoral neck fractures
Features
The nails are available in ⌀ of 9, 10, 11 and 12mm; short nails in sizes 180mm to 240mm; Long nail, both left and right in sizes 320 to 460mm
Interlocking cannulated bone screw, ⌀ 8.0mm, Lengths 60 to 120mm
Antegrade Femoral Nail (AFN)
The Antegrade Femoral Nail (AFN) is an intramedullary device for treating femoral shaft fractures, as well as combinations of shaft fractures with subtrochanteric and femoral neck fractures approaching the medullary canal just lateral from the greater trochanter tip
Features
- The nail’s anatomical pre-contouring helps it fit better into the medullary canal and makes it easier to insert
- The cannulation allows the nail to be inserted over a central wire, either reamed or unreamed
- The 6.3 mm hip screw provides a good hold on the femoral head
- The proximal screw holes are threaded to prevent the screws from backing out
