test-Hybrid Lock Humerus Nail
The Hybrid Lock Humerus Nail is indicated for fractures of proximal humerus including –
- 2-part surgical neck fractures
- 3-part fractures
- 4-part fractures
- Fractures of the proximal humerus with diaphyseal extension
- Diaphyseal fractures of the humeral shaft
- Impending pathological fractures
- Straight nail with central insertion point
- Nail is available in diameter of 6.0, 6.5, 7.0,7.5, 8.0 , 8.5 and 9.0mm
- Hybrid Lock Screws : Unique screw-in-screw option, for improved stability where needed
- Multiplanar proximal locking : provides multiple points of fixation in the head through the greater tuberosity. Additional screw in screw may be inserted through the screw heads of lateral screws to increase stability
- Ascending screw option to provide support to the calcar
- The ascending calcar screw and the 3.5 mm screw in screw options designed to increase resistance to head migration, varus deformation and greater tuberosity
- Multiplanar distal locking for less implant toggling
- Fully targeted distal locking for the short nail
- Colour indication for easy screw size selection.
- End cap prevent tissue ingrowth and extends nail height if nail is overinserted.
